This is a paid and full-time internship program for a period of 6 - 9 months. As part of this internship, you’ll learn how to develop and test code efficiently while gaining real world experience working on applications that support our customers. With mentoring from Senior Developers, the intern will learn multiple systems and be able to use their skills in multiple projects and maintenance, and coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. During and post completion of the program, you may receive full-time employment opportunity from ValGenesis.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in writing code for new features or bug fixes or test automation under the guidance of senior engineers using Python, C# .NET Core, ReactJS, ReactNative, Azure cloud services etc.
- Perform unit, integration, and regression testing to ensure the quality of the software.
- Assist in system improvements including identifying and resolving application defects.
- Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Gain practical experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Learn new technologies and programming languages.
- Other tasks may include – Automating manual tasks, R&D initiatives, prototype development.
- Pursuing the final year or recently completed an engineering or post graduate degree in Computer Science from an accredited university.
- Be able to demonstrate the required skills and experience, either through an internship, previous employment, or in a college project.
- Strong programming knowledge of Python or ReactJS or C#.
- Good knowledge of AI/ML tools/technologies.
- Good understanding of Design Patterns and Object-Oriented Concepts.
- Basic familiarity with GIT, Subversion, or similar version control systems.
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, development, production deployment and maintenance; Experience or understanding of working in an Agile environment.
- Ability to detail and write technical documentation in English for internal or external developer/technical audiences.
