The individual will assist software engineers in the development of a playback tool for analysis of case telemetry.
Imperative Care provides an opportunity for students to work in the dynamic medical device industry and gain valuable hands-on experience with state-of-the-art equipment, instruments, and facilities. Our internship program is designed to give interns foundational experience and exposure to a variety of roles and areas of focus to help prepare them for a career in MedTech. What You’ll Do
The individual will assist software engineers in the development of a playback tool for analysis of case telemetry.
- Implement visualizations of robotic motion within a workspace using telemetry, configurations, and kinematics
- Process and display robot sensor and state machine information
- Develop the software infrastructure to efficiently generate analysis metrics of the case progression
- Experience with Python and C++
- Strong understanding of linear algebra
- Knowledge in kinematics, ROS, visualization tools, or software architecture is a plus
- Strong organizational skills: management of priorities, documentation, and timing
- Good interpersonal skills, effective communication, and partnership with other departments
