Software Engineer Intern, Node.js

When you join GoTo Customer Support Platform team, you’ll take on a key role in this process and see your work be used by millions of users worldwide.

Your Day to Day

As a Node.js Intern, you would be working on:

• Actively participate in team synchronization, sprint planning, retrospectives, and product feature demonstrations.
• Gain hands-on experience working on LogMeIn Resolve’s Helpdesk project.
•  Learn and practice designing and implementing microservice-based architectures to deliver scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain backend services with Node.js
• Work with AWS services to build cloud-native applications.
• Help ensure APIs are efficient, secure, and scalable.

What We’re Looking For

As a Node.js Intern, your background will look like:

Must-Have Skills:
 

• Active or recently completed web-related studies with a foundational understanding of networking concepts and how APIs work.
• Enthusiasm for learning cloud computing and hands-on experience with AWS.
• A pragmatic, open-minded, and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to maintain a predictable and consistent schedule

Advantageous Skills:

• Existing knowledge or experience in Node.js, Java, C# or similar modern programming language.
• Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL (or similar).
