About the Role
We’re looking for a Software Engineer, Infrastructure to help build the core platforms that power PushPress as we scale toward an AI-driven product ecosystem. This is a software engineering role first, focused on writing production code, with ownership across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and developer tooling. You’ll design and operate the systems that support intelligent, data-driven, and automated workloads, ensuring reliability, scalability, and observability as our platform evolves.
This is not a traditional DevOps or SRE role. You’ll be building software, shaping platforms, and owning infrastructure end to end to support both our engineers and the AI-powered capabilities of our product.
What You'll Do
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer owning real, production systems at scale
- Strong programming skills with a focus on writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that supports evolving, intelligent systems
- Experience building backend services, internal platforms, or shared libraries that enable data-driven and automated product capabilities
- Hands-on experience with AWS, containers, and infrastructure as code, ideally supporting data-intensive or AI-enabled workloads
- Comfort operating complex, data-rich systems and automated or agentic workflows in production environments
- A strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and the ability to think systemically about how infrastructure, data, and platforms enable intelligent products
What You'll Need
- Build and own production software that powers PushPress infrastructure, platforms, and developer tooling
- Design and operate scalable cloud systems that support data-intensive and AI-enabled workloads
- Create internal APIs, libraries, and frameworks that make it easier for teams to ship intelligent, reliable systems
- Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows that enable rapid iteration on product and AI-driven features
- Partner closely with product engineers to bake reliability, performance, and observability into systems from day one
- Lead incident response and post-incident reviews with a focus on resilience, learning, and long-term system improvement
