What you’ll do
- Contribute to the design and implementation of advanced automation solutions to enhance IT infrastructure operations.
- Develop and maintain automation systems using object-oriented programming languages, leveraging modern IDEs such as Cursor for efficient development.
- Utilize AWS cloud services to build scalable and efficient infrastructure automation systems.
- Apply expertise in Linux systems to script and automate operations effectively.
- Use knowledge of networking concepts and technologies, including load balancers, firewalls, and network protocols, to develop robust automation solutions.
- Implement configuration automation with open source tools like Ansible and Terraform to streamline deployment processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation initiatives and integrate solutions across various technological areas.
What’s required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
- Proficiency in programming using an object-oriented programming language, such as Rust, Java or Python.
- Understanding of Linux systems and system operations automation.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies.
- Basic knowledge of configuration automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Familiarity with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Route53, IAM.
- Understanding of messaging buses such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Experience with relational databases and non-relational stores, such as Postgres, Elasticsearch, MongoDB.
- Strong software design skills.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools, such as, Grafana, Prometheus, and DataDog.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

The annual base salary range for this role is $175,000-$300,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
