FactSet Research Systems is an American financial data and software company, providing a wide universe of economic data and services with the help of innovative Financial and Statistical data collection.

The Dynamic Portfolio Construction team has developed several API solutions that provide functionality for multi-asset class market risk management, multi-factor modelling, dynamic portfolio construction, and analysis. Our newest API solution, currently under development, is multi-tenanted and fully integrated into the FactSet ecosystem of services.

Technical environment: JavaEE, REST API, SQL, JavaScript, AWS

Requirements: 

• 4+ years of extensive back-end development of enterprise solutions using JavaEE; 

• Proven experience with web application development and/or web services; 

• Ability to work with and manage a large code base; 

• Knowledge of SQL, preferably on Postgresql; 

• Experience with CI/CD process, GitHub and GitHub actions

• Proactive personality, analytical mindset and willingness to expand your knowledge; 

• Excellent proficiency in English. 

Advanced: 

• Experience with Amazon Web Services 

• Experience with multithreading and a distributed environment; 

• Experience in Web technologies (HTML, JavaScript); 

• Experience with software testing tools and frameworks (JMeter, TestNG, etc.); 

• Interest in enterprise finance;
