SOFTWARE ENGINEER III – SUPPLY CHAIN
Motion Industries, Inc. is seeking Software Engineer III – Supply Chain in Birmingham, AL to develop and support enterprise software written in-house to support mission critical business functions such as supplier rebates, distribution center and warehouse operations, inventory control, and field-facing branch operations functionality. Duties will include problem resolution analysis and corrections, developing new software based on approved design documents, and correcting system problems, while working as a part of an Agile development team.
Must have Bachelor's degree (or its foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Tech/Systems, Engineering, or a related technology driven field. Must have 5 years of experience designing and delivering solutions with Scrum/Agile development methodology & Supply Chain Technology, including experience in product ownership, planning, and delivery in an agile environment. Must include experience communicating to users by discussing and demonstrating working software in an effective manner.
This role is being offered with a Hybrid Telecommuting Plan, with the position requiring work onsite at our Birmingham, AL HQ office as required by manager, and remote work otherwise permitted.
