As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector, Global Finance Technology Team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a SAP ABAP Programmer you will be responsible for the analysis, design, and development of SAP FI solutions. You will design and develop innovative solutions in ABAP for various SAP initiatives. You will be part of the global development team and will creatively solve problems in a highly collaborative environment.
Job responsibilities

  • Executing software solutions, designing, developing, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
  • Designing, developing and supporting application solutions with focus on SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Developing and/or re-engineering highly complex application components and integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms.
  • Implementing and deploying SAP UI5 applications, including custom extension development and configuration for user roles, catalogs, and groups.
  • Helping implement Automated Unit testing framework to drive best practices using ABAP Units / ABAP Double / Q-Units / Sinon.js.
  • Developing RESTful and SOAP based API interfaces for various SAP components for external consumptions or helping setup cloud deployments.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
  • Proficient in development of ABAP RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Reports and Workflow) objects.
  • Strong Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming using ABAP Objects
  • Experience in data modelling using ABAP Development Tools (ADT), BTP, Business Application Studio (BAS)
  • Experience in Code Performance Rules and Guidelines for SAP HANA, ADBC, Native SQL, ABAP CDS, Data Base Procedures and HANA Live models consumption.
  • Experience in developing and deploying custom SAP UI5 applications using SAP Cloud Platform, BAS and developing applications with consumption of ODATA services
  • In -depth experience of RESTful API using OData Services
  • HANA CDS views and Git Repository Integration
  • SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture
  • SAP Fiori Apps and Theme Design
  • Experience in working in Implementation, Upgrade, Maintenance and Post Production support projects

  • Experience in Rest API, ODATA Services, UI5, Fiori Development
