As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology, Consumer and Community Banking Risk Technology team, you will play a crucial role in an agile team, responsible for designing and delivering innovative products with a focus on User Experience (UX). Your duties will include implementing key technology solutions across a range of technical domains within various business functions, all aimed at supporting the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
- Work with product managers, data scientists, ML engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Perform Design, Coding, Testing maintaining top notch quality and UX.
- Perform peer reviews of designs and code.
- Develop API/services for model deployment, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Execute Proof Of Concepts to validate out-of-box and innovative ideas .
- Stay in touch about the latest trends and advancements in Machine learning especially Generative AI, Leverage AI based tools in different stages of Software Development life cycle (SDLC) for enhanced productivity and quality.
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Strong User Interface Coding experience with React JS besides html, CSS.
- Strong programming experience with languages like Python or Java, including packaging for deployment .
- Experience in building APIs and RESTful services using Flask/Django/FastAPI or SpringBoot.
- Experience with Public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience with Containerization Technologies (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes).
- Experience in Machine Learning Operations (ML Ops).
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams communicate complex concepts, and contribute to interdisciplinary projects.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Experience with RDBMS or Big Data Techologies • Experience in designing and building microservices • Familiarity with the financial services industries
