As a Software Engineer 3 within the Corporate Functions (CF) Digital Employee Experience (DEE) organization, you will work with a diverse team of engineers, product leaders, and business stakeholders to design and deliver enterprise-scale sensing solutions that power Nike's employee and consumer listening programs. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across product, analytics, and business functions to support a wide range of Qualtrics-based experiences. DEE supports Comms, Sensing, the Department of Nike Archives, Legal, Resilience, Security, Global Places and Services, and more.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an expert-level Qualtrics Software Engineer to join the Global Technology Corporate Functions (CF) Digital Employee Experience (DEE) team to lead a high-priority, high-visibility Qualtrics transformation for the enterprise. The ideal candidate is a Qualtrics subject matter expert who is passionate about data-driven insights, comfortable innovating creative solutions alongside a team of Qualtrics experts, and prepared to hit the ground running on day one. The person in this role must have outstanding project management and communication skills, strong presentation abilities, and a proven track record of delivering results across stakeholder and vendor management, advanced survey design, custom dashboards, and conversational analytics. This person will be a self-starter, well-organized, and will thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Qualtrics administration experience, with expert-level proficiency - particularly in the CX and Discover product spaces; additional backend or full-stack software engineering experience is a plus
Qualtrics certification is nice to have, not required
Strong project management skills, including stakeholder management, scoping, scheduling, time management, and risk management
Strong presentation skills - comfortable delivering demos and readouts to non-technical audiences
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage expectations across the enterprise
Experience with Qualtrics Discover or other conversational analytics / NLP platforms is highly desirable
Experience with APIs, SQL, and Python; familiarity with data engineering tools such as Databricks and Snowflake is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with Qualtrics AI features and other AI-powered tools for workflow automation, survey intelligence, and operational efficiency
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this role, you will serve as the Qualtrics subject matter expert for the CF DEE organization, leading the design and execution of enterprise-scale sensing programs that capture employee and consumer feedback. You will provide consultation on survey design, build custom dashboards and reporting, implement automation workflows, and apply conversational NLP and sentiment analysis to surface actionable insights. You will also lead project management activities to ensure the successful delivery of Nike's Qualtrics transformation.
Provide Qualtrics consultation on survey design and execution, including survey flow, question design, data analysis, and dashboard development
Work with stakeholders to identify technology needs and develop survey programs that meet those needs
Serve as the Qualtrics subject matter expert, conducting demos and enablement sessions for teams across the enterprise
Build custom dashboards and reporting to deliver actionable insights to business and leadership partners
Design and implement automation workflows and change management plans to support the enterprise Qualtrics transformation
Apply conversational NLP and sentiment analysis capabilities (e.g., Qualtrics Discover) to surface deeper insights from open-ended feedback
Construct data pipelines using tools such as Databricks and Snowflake, leveraging Python and SQL, to connect survey data with broader analytics ecosystems (nice to have)
Develop documentation and self-service resources for non-experienced Qualtrics users across the organization
Conduct project management activities - scoping, scheduling, time management, and risk management - to ensure successful delivery of the Qualtrics transformation
