Who We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer III to build and scale web applications and data-driven services for the Office of the General Counsel. You’ll work across front-end and back-end systems, collaborate closely with product and business partners, and help the team ship secure, reliable solutions with strong engineering fundamentals.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
8+ years of experience building and shipping software, including hands-on full-stack development
Strong back-end experience building cloud-native REST APIs in Python (e.g., FastAPI)
Strong front-end experience building web applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, with solid HTML/CSS fundamentals
Experience with AWS and building/operating services in the cloud
Hands-on experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake (data processing, data services, or analytics workloads)
Experience with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server
Experience with asynchronous/event-driven patterns and messaging technologies (e.g., SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Experience with containers and platform tooling (e.g., Docker and/or Kubernetes)
Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS SAM) and CI/CD practices
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver iteratively in Agile/Scrum
Strong communication skills, ownership mindset, and comfort working through ambiguity
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with workflow/ETL orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Tableau, Databricks Dashboards, or similar

What You Will Work On
As a Full Stack Software Engineer III, you will:
Collaborate in architecture and design sessions; contribute to technical direction and solution design.
Design, build, and maintain cloud-native REST APIs in Python using FastAPI; write and maintain API contracts and documentation in Confluence.
Build and evolve front-end experiences using React with modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and strong HTML/CSS fundamentals.
Develop data services and integrations using SQL, PostgreSQL, and platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake (e.g., batch and event-driven patterns).
Build and operate applications on AWS, applying infrastructure-as-code practices (e.g., Terraform / CloudFormation) and modern deployment patterns.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub) and participate in peer code reviews to maintain quality and consistency.
Partner with product and stakeholders to break down work into clear stories, estimates, and executable tasks.
Raise the engineering bar through testing, observability, and secure coding practices; help troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Mentor junior engineers through pairing, constructive reviews, and pragmatic guidance.
