JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop high quality software - efficient, maintainable, and scalable development of multiple applications and services.
2. Adhere to safe coding practices from security, dependency, and risk mitigation perspectives.
3. Collaborate with designers to build frontend experiences.
4. Identify the impacts on other modules and applications of the systems, including in the context of distributed systems.
5. Assist project leadership in creating estimations of work for clients and projects, estimating required staffing resources, participating in interviews, and determining the project software development schedule.
6. Work with version control complexities, including multiple concurrent branches and multi-branch merges.
7. Perform unit and integration testing in a deployment environment to verify the delivered implementation meets the given requirements.
8. Identify gaps in testing methodology and suggest alternative solutions or framework.
9. Provide support for implementations to Business Analysts and Technical Support in resolving production issues and providing key contributions in resolution.
10. Stay up to date on industry best practices.
11. Work under diverse scope.
12. Select methods or techniques for solutions.
13. Work independently with very little daily supervision.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, plus the following experience:

1. 1 year of experience as a frontend software engineer;
2. 1 year of experience in each of the following: Javascript, HTML, and CSS;
3. 1 year of combined experience to include each of the following open source Javascript frameworks: React, Fusion.js, and Redux;
4. 1 year of combined experience to include each of the following React component testing frameworks: Storybook and Ladle;
5. 1 year of experience with React Hook Form library;
6. 1 year of experience with the unit testing framework Jest;
7. 1 year of experience in user experience design;
8. 1 year of experience with Base Web component library;
9. 1 year of experience with Node.js;
10. 1 year of experience in each of the following: architecting, building, and maintaining web applications;
11. 1 year of experience in Application Programming Interface (API) design; and
12. 1 year of experience building software for customers in the Over-the-Road (OTR) trucking domain.

• Experience may be gained concurrently.
• Hybrid position. 50% in office is required with work from home available on non-collaboration days. Must reside within commuting distance from employer’s San Francisco, CA office.
• Requires less than 10% domestic travel to other company locations.

SALARY: $‎182,709.00/year to $253,860.00/year
