Role/Department Description:
Manila's Third-party Data Solutions Engineering is looking for an experienced engineer to join its ranks of solution developers. The team mainly focuses on developing solutions for improving the operations and sustainability of Factset's third-party data products using different technologies. The team also interfaces with other platform and product teams in Paris, London, Hyderabad, New York, and Norwalk.
We work as an agile team. Each team has an equivalent of a PO and Scrum Master responsible for the solution vision and management of execution.
Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
-
3-5 years of software development experience
-
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Python or equivalent proficiency in other object-oriented programming languages

Significant experience developing APIs employing best practices preferably in FastAPI
-
Significant experience with VueJS or equivalent web development framework
-
Considerable familiarity with AWS technologies or equivalent cloud technology provider

Has repeatedly developed, tested and deployed high-quality, stable changes with success and promptly
-
Proven ability to adapt to changes in requirements and learn new tools and practices where needed
-
Ability to describe the business, client base, and where their work fits into the bigger picture.

Ability to contribute to code review feedback for other engineers and contribute to forward design ideas

Ability to communicate effectively with peers within the organization
-
Willingness to be a part of an on-call support rotation that responds to high-priority issues that may happen outside regular working hours

Willingness to work in a hybrid setup reporting to office at least twice a week
