As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Solve public cloud challenges using enterprise toolsets.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to understand problems and build solutions.
- Create world class documentation.
- Advise leadership on upcoming risks, concerns, and vulnerabilities.
- Creates a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representation
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Experience contributing to enterprise technology projects
- Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of coding with modern scripting languages and infrastructure as code practices
- Strong understanding of AWS services for Traditional Compute, Containerization, and Serverless architectures
- Expert level experience in developmental toolsets including Jira, BitBucket and Confluence
- Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplines
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- AWS Solution Architect Associate certification
- Exception verbal and written communication
- Experience working at code levels
