In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge software applications that improve building automation systems, enabling safer, more energy-efficient, and productive environments for building owners and occupants.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Duluth, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+
- Build and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure
- Develop microservices architectures and integrate with distributed systems
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and agile ceremonies
- Troubleshoot production issues and support system improvements
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in design and development of software solutions.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Web API
- Hands-on experience with Azure services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus, Key Vault)
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
- Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
- Experience with SQL Server / Cosmos DB / NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes (nice to have)

- Exposure to security best practices (OAuth2, Azure AD, managed identities)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Application Insights, Log Analytics)
