This is an onsite position, 5 days/week, in the Vadodara office. Remote applicants will not be considered.
Responsibilities for the Software Engineer II
- Design, develop, and implement automated systems and processes to optimize efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and recommending suitable technologies
- Analyze existing systems, understand business requirements, and propose automation solutions to streamline workflows
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of automation processes, ensuring clarity for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of automated systems to guarantee their reliability and effectiveness
- Continuously monitor and troubleshoot automated processes and necessitate a proactive approach to identify and address potential issues promptly
- Stay updated on emerging automation technologies and industry best practices for automation to effectively contribute the organization’s long term success
Qualifications of the Software Engineer II
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the Software Engineer II
- Added Advantage(Mandatory): QA Automation (Selenium), Automation Frameworks, Manual Testing
- Agile/Scrum, DevOps Basic Workflow Understanding, Test Strategy, preferred
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks, design patterns, and scripting best practices
- Expertise in Selenium for test automation, including designing and implementing automation frameworks
- Proficient in Java or C# programming languages, Agile/Scrum methodologies & working in cross-functional teams
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps
- Exposure to test management tools and agile practices
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
