SW Engineer II (f/t)

Job Description:

Releasing new features and bug fixes for the Freshop API core. Analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and deploying complete and robust solutions based on feature stories. Optimizing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) architecture to achieve increased speed, reliability, and scalability. Identifying, assessing, and integrating with third-party services to extend platform functionality. Identifying, designing, implementing, and testing new features for process automation. Creating solution technical designs to maintain the code base for enhancements and fixes, including review of requirements specifications and preparation of technical specifications, unit testing, code reviews, and associated technical documentation. Act as a liaison within Freshop and with third parties and clients by attending meetings detailing customer requirements or issues and engaging in initial diagnosis or design. Maintaining API core for bug fixes, including responding to, analyzing, and resolving tickets and other support escalations. Developing and configuring build automation, ensuring continuous delivery of the platform. Creating and maintaining test scripts to ensure the APIs are validated per test strategy and address customer requirements. Other duties as assigned. The position is eligible for full-time telecommuting and can be performed anywhere in the United States.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science or a closely related technical field and two (2) years of experience in an application development and support occupation. Experience must include the following demonstrated knowledge**:

• Application development (such as Ruby or similar);
• Object-oriented coding; and
• Database (such as Structured Query Language (SQL)/Postgres or similar).

*Any combination of education that has been evaluated by a professional credentials evaluation service to be the equivalent of an U.S. degree will be accepted. **Knowledge may be demonstrated through education, training and/or experience. References required.

Work location: 864 Spring Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30308. Annual salary range: $120,050 to $200,100.
