What you'll do
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of full-stack engineers.
- Design and build scalable microservices using Scala, .NET Core, and C#.
- Develop front-end features using React or Angular.
- Work with AWS services like EKS, ECS, API Gateway, and OpenSearch.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Contribute to DevOps automation using GitLab, Jenkins, and containerization tools.
- Advocate for engineering best practices and mentor junior developers.
- Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, including AI-assisted development tools.
What you'll bring:
- 2+ years of experience in a full-stack development role using .NET or Java/Scala.
- 1+ years building scalable web applications with .NET Core, C#, Scala, and MongoDB (or similar).
- Hands-on experience with AWS microservices architecture (EKS, ECS, OpenSearch).
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
- Strong understanding of multi-threaded applications, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native design.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to AI developer tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Bonus if you have:
- Experience with geospatial technologies or real-time data processing.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud deployment strategies.
- Agile/Scrum team experience.
- Passion for building software that makes a real-world impact.
