Title: Software Engineer II
Job Location: Seneca One, Buffalo, NY 14203. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Job Description: Build workflows, projects, schemas, and issue schemes using Atlassian best practices as a Jira Administrator and Software Engineer. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code within an agile team, ensuring optimal performance and quality of applications on various technology platforms. Manage Atlassian cloud products (Jira primarily), Confluence, Miro, Trello, Python, Zephyr, SQL Server, Gitlab, .NET Core, TargetProcess, and other on-prem systems supporting the Agile COE. Collaborate with the team regularly, participate in show and tell sessions to showcase accomplishments, and gather feedback from stakeholders. Serve as a Jira and Confluence Org Admin, configuring and integrating Jira and Confluence with other systems (Gitlab, ServiceNow, others). Utilize .Net Core development (C#) in Visual Studio, Gitlab for code commits, and have experience or knowledge of SQL Server and SQL Server Administration.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information System, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical field plus five (5) years of experience [or a Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information System, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical field plus three (3) years of experience] with Jira and Atlassian product management, including experience in JQL language, user management, permissions, and project configurations; Experience with API consumption; Demonstrated knowledge of source code management, including storage and version control; Demonstrated knowledge of languages including SQL, Groovy, and Javascript; Experience with Microsoft products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
Salary: $123,460.94 - $133,460.94 per year.
