Title: Software Engineer II
Job Location: 465 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14203. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Job Description:
Support, upgrade, and redesign financial service applications within an Agile environment using SQL Server, Git, .NET and C#. Design and develop UX/UI components in Angular. Collaborate with business liaisons and product owners to comprehend and prioritize requirements. Create design patterns, and code and unit test applications. Implement automated testing scripts, demonstrate developed products to the business, and obtain business sign-off before deployment. Mentor candidates in the Technology Development Program. Assist in any audits as needed and actively participate in agile ceremonies. Develop, execute, and implement efficiencies in the CI/CD pipeline and automated testing. Troubleshoot production incidents and bugs. Identify and provide feedback to managers on potential issues. Code, test, and deploy applications that support the department. Keep applications current with the latest technology and best practices.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field and Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation. Requires experience with the following: Five (5) years of experience developing applications using C# within an SQL Server; three (3) years of experience developing financial applications; two (2) years of experience developing UX/UI components in Angular; and two (2) years of experience designing software applications using ASP and GIT within an Agile environment.
Salary: $143,666.00 - $143,712.50 per year.
