Position: Test Automation Engineer
Experience: 4 -8 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and C#.
- Create, review, and execute detailed test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform comprehensive manual testing for new features, exploratory testing, regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing support.
- Develop and execute automated test suites for UI, API, and end-to-end workflows.
- Conduct Performance Testing, Security Testing, and Non-Functional Testing activities.
- Validate application functionality across web applications, APIs, databases, and cloud environments.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide early quality feedback during design and development phases.
- Generate daily, weekly, and release-level status reports, quality metrics, defect trends, and test execution summaries.
Required Skills
Testing & Quality Engineering
- Strong experience in Test Automation using Playwright.
- Strong expertise in Test Case Design, Test Planning, Test Strategy creation, and Test Execution.
- Hands-on experience in Manual Testing including Functional, Integration, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and Exploratory Testing.
- Experience in API Testing using Postman, Swagger, Playwright, or similar tools.
- Experience in UI Testing of web applications.
- Experience in Performance Testing tools such as JMeter, k6, LoadRunner, or equivalent.
- Experience in Security Testing, OWASP guidelines, vulnerability assessment, and security validation.
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Defect Lifecycle, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience working with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail, or similar.
Programming & Automation
- Strong programming skills in C#/.NET.
- Experience with automation frameworks, design patterns, and reusable test architecture.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
Database
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
- Strong SQL querying and database validation skills.
Cloud & DevOps
- Working knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices testing.
AI & Modern Engineering
- Good understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents, and AI-assisted development.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar AI tools.
- Exposure to Vibe Coding and leveraging AI to accelerate test automation development.
Preferred Skills
- Experience building Playwright frameworks from scratch.
