Position Overview
We are looking for a Software Engineer II - Salesforce to support the configuration, customization, and maintenance of our Salesforce platform. This role is ideal for someone with foundational Salesforce knowledge who is eager to grow their development skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and integrations.
This role will work closely with senior developers, admins, business analysts, and stakeholders to help deliver Salesforce enhancements across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with Salesforce configuration and customization.
Build and update Salesforce Flows, validation rules, page layouts, record types, and custom fields.
Support Apex development under the guidance of senior developers.
Assist with Lightning Web Component development and troubleshooting.
Help maintain existing Salesforce automations and integrations.
Participate in testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
Review requirements and help translate them into Salesforce solutions.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Support production issue troubleshooting and user-reported defects.
Learn and follow Salesforce development best practices.
Required Qualifications2 - 5 years of hands-on Salesforce experience.
Basic understanding of Salesforce configuration and declarative tools.
Exposure to Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components.
Familiarity with Salesforce Flow and automation.
Basic understanding of Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
Willingness to learn APIs, integrations, and deployment processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work with a team and take direction from senior developers.
Preferred QualificationsSalesforce Administrator certification.
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification or working toward it.
Experience with Git, VS Code, Salesforce CLI, or change sets.
Exposure to REST/SOAP APIs.
Experience working in a sandbox environment.
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum teams.
