Your Responsibilities:

Your Qualifications:
- 3+ years as a professional software developer
- Excited to learn new things and take on big challenges with the support of Rover’s Engineering community
- Comfort working in different parts of the stack
- Familiarity with relational databases and schema design
- Rigor in automated testing, code quality, and engineering best practices
- Intuition for when to call it "good enough", and when to put in the extra time to polish
- A track record of successfully launching large scale projects starting from ambiguous problems
- Aligned with Rover Core Values
- Plus: Experience with any of the technologies we support - Python/Django, Elasticsearch, React/React Native
- Plus: Experience working in a relevant domain - search or two-sided marketplaces

Compensation:
- In the greater Seattle area the first-year salary range is $118,000-153,000. Additionally, Rover offers a long-term incentive plan with a company performance-based cash payout and benefits to full-time employees.
- The cash compensation offered for this role will be dependent on the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and abilities as demonstrated in the interview and hiring process.
