About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer II to join our mobile team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining Wati's mobile application, directly impacting our user experience on the go. You will work with modern tools and technologies to build a robust, high-performance app.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, performant mobile applications for Wati using Flutter.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Backend) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in the full app development and release lifecycle, from concept to deployment on the App Store and Google Play.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
- Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart.
- Proven experience with the complete app development and release lifecycle (CI/CD, app store submissions).
- Hands-on experience with AI programming tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity and code quality.
- A passion for building great user experiences and a product-focused mindset.
Bonus Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):
- Experience with Firebase services (Firestore, Auth, Cloud Functions, Crashlytics).
- Familiarity with native mobile development (iOS/Swift or Android/Kotlin).
- Experience with state management solutions like Bloc or Provider.
- Knowledge of automated testing and building scalable applications.
