Overview:
The MasterCard D&S Technology development team is engaged in working with new and innovative technologies to build business solutions that keep MasterCard positioned as a leader in delivering value added business analytic and reporting solutions to our diverse customer base. We work collaboratively with our product partners and other technical teams to continuously improve and enhance our existing products and drive new products to the global marketplace. We are currently seeking candidates that will be responsible to support the technical lead in design and produce a high-quality code using different languages.
Role • Design and develop high quality, secure, scalable software solutions based on technical requirements specifications and design artifacts within expected time and budget.• Work closely with Product Owners to develop beautiful, usable UIs and creative visualizations.• Stay abreast of latest on the technology trends and industry best practices to hone and maintain your talent.• Participate in architectural discussions, iteration planning, and feature sizing meetings.• Develop code of high quality with customer focused approach.• Provide support during System and User Acceptance Testing.• Adhere to Agile processes and participate actively in agile ceremonies.
All About You• Strong 3-6 years of experience in Full Stack Java application development and support, using modern and industry-standard development tools and practices.• Hands-on experience with Java 8 or higher and Spring Framework (Spring 5 or above) for building scalable backend services.• Proven experience in developing RESTful web services using Spring Boot / Spring REST APIs.• Solid understanding of relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server, with expertise in writing optimized and performant SQL queries.• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular for building responsive user interfaces.• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, SonarQube, Chef, or equivalent automation tools.• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for application deployment, monitoring, and scaling, along with understanding of cloud-native and microservices architecture.• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.• Hands-on experience or exposure to Databricks and big data ecosystems, including working with Spark-based data processing, ETL pipelines, or Delta Lake.• Exposure to AI/ML concepts and AI-powered development tools (e.g., Copilot, AI-assisted testing, or code generation) and ability to integrate AI/ML services/APIs into applications.• Familiarity with application servers and development environments including Tomcat, Apache, STS, Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, and Visual Studio Code.• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies.• Experience working in global, cross-functional teams, with strong technical problem-solving skills.

Skills Required
