Our vision
Our vision is to combine passion, expertise, and technology to provide best-in-class investment solutions and advice that protects and grows client wealth over time.
Our Core Values:
We’ve built our business on three Principles:
- Relationships are our first asset: We’re one team, built on trust, honesty, and transparency. We value our relationships above all else.
- Trust drives success: We give each other the space to grow. We empower our employees to succeed, so they can make a real impact.
- Our customers dream big, just like us: We see the bigger picture and we make sure our customers see it, too. We’re always focused on the best outcomes for our clients and for each other, no matter what the goal, or how big the dream
What this means in practice:
At Moneyfarm, our success comes from the impact each of us makes. We move with purpose, urgency, and ambition, focused on delivering outcomes that matter for our clients and our business. Everyone is empowered to take ownership, challenge the status quo, and turn bold ideas into results. As we evolve, we embrace AI as a catalyst for sharper thinking, smarter decisions, and even greater impact.
Our diversity makes this possible. Different perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences fuel our creativity and drive better decisions — it’s our competitive edge. We value people for who they are and their unique strengths: that's why we offer flexible ways of working to support them in doing their best work.
About the role:
In this role you will be an iOS app developer in a cross-functional development team. You will be the go-to person within the team for iOS app development. You also take initiative to learn/research new technologies in the iOS ecosystem.
You are able to design and implement medium to large size features which bring value while managing the system’s tech debt. You proactively support and collaborate with other team members and help them to be successful, consistently stepping up when it is required.
A successful candidate in this role will be curious, pragmatic, value simplicity and effectiveness, and be biased for action. They will consider being wrong an opportunity for learning and will not consider any part of the software development lifecycle to be someone else’s problem.
Things we value are: an Agile approach to product development, using short iteration cycles, and frequent releases to customers; and a Product engineering Mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our iOS app portfolio.
- Deliver simple, usable, and effective customer experiences, with strong attention to UI and UX.
- Collaborate closely with designers and fellow engineers (iOS, Android, frontend, backend) to ensure consistency across all consumer-facing applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, and promote a “test early” mindset within the team.
- Stay curious and proactive about the evolution of iOS technologies, helping to bring new ideas that improve customer value and product quality.
Requirements
- You have at least 2 years of commercial experience in software engineering, a BSc in Software Engineering or Computer Science or higher degree non essential, but nice to have.
- Solid knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI and the iOS framework.
- Awareness of emerging frameworks, technologies, and architectures in the iOS ecosystem (e.g. Combine, async/await, …).
- Experience with cross-platform mobile solutions (React Native, Flutter, Kotlin Multiplatform) is a plus, but not essential
- Familiarity with dependency management and build tools.
- Proven experience in releasing apps to the App Store, including handling certificates, provisioning profiles, and submission process.
- Comfortable with Git workflows and participating in code reviews.
- Familiarity with microservices architectures, APIs and common integration patterns.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and exposure to tools such as GitLab CI or similar.
- Strong focus on testing, with attention to detail and quality.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and their core principles
- Experience in regulated sectors (e.g., fintech, trading systems) is a plus.
- Able to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken), Italian is a nice to have.
