Job Description Summary:
The Software Engineer-II designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software tools including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools. Determines software’s compatibility with hardware and/or influences software's design in relation to hardware.About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and driven Frontend Developer to join our cloud product team. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in building responsive, performant web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks. This is a great opportunity to be part of a collaborative, agile team building next-generation cloud-native applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop user-facing features using Angular (preferred), React, or Vue along with TypeScript.
- Build and maintain server-side components using Node.js and Express framework.
- Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality HTML and CSS code.
- Collaborate with backend developers and product teams to integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, code reviews, and other agile ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize front-end code for performance and scalability.
- Maintain code quality using version control systems (Git/Bitbucket).
Must-Have Skills:
- 2-5 years of software development experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and Express.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Angular (preferred), or React/Vue.
- Solid understanding of web standards, responsive design, and browser compatibility.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira.
- Experience using Git, Bitbucket, or similar version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving ability and a quick learning mindset.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Firebase.
- Exposure to RESTful web services and microservices architecture.
- Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Can-do attitude
- Curious and asks "why"
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
