Job Description: As a DevOps AWS Cloud Engineer at JPMorgan, you will play a key role in modernizing our cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure our applications are reliable, scalable, and secure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using best practices.
- Lead infrastructure modernization efforts to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development process.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability.
- Ensure security best practices are followed and assist in compliance efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and DevOps tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Java is a plus.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Github.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with infrastructure modernization projects.
- Knowledge of networking and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Additional certifications in Kubernetes and Terraform are preferred.
