What you’ll doResponsibilities- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across engineering teams using Ruby and Java
- Build software infrastructure, including developing, testing, and deploying it
- Design and develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
- Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation
- Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
- Work with engineers and cross-functional partners across the company
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

Minimum requirements- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or related field followed by 4 years of software development experience
- 3 years of experience building software solutions using Ruby, Typescript or Java
- 3 years of experience defining storage schemas for relational, document or columnar databases
- 3 years of experience querying data stores using SQL
- 3 years of experience building and integrating service endpoints using GRPC, Thrift, or GraphQL
- 3 years of experience building systems integrated with event processing technologies including SQS, Kafka or RabbitMQ
- 1 year of experience architecting and designing microservices
Salary: $160,805 - $235,200/yr.
This salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions/sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.
40 hrs/week
Up to 50% telework permitted.
