As a Software Engineer you will be part of a team of talented developers, business analysts, QA analysts and Project Managers building solutions for Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 Clients. You will participate in the development life cycle including development, testing, and implementation. You will work hand-in-hand with the Business Analysts and Project Managers to understand the business requirements and build a software solution. As a Software Engineer you will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects with talented Architects and Engineers, learning and implementing solid development practices.
Responsibilities
- Be an active individual contributor on a team: creating working, readable code that fits given business requirements, and participating in code reviews
- Understand project scopes, architectural diagrams and requirements to further breakdown more granular requirements and implementing them as part of a project team
- Work in an Agile team (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and be a vocal participant in team meetings
- Promote the organization's present technology within a team
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related field
- 2 years experience with Microsoft & open-source Technologies
- Proficient in developing web-based interfaces using ASP.Net MVC, Web API, HTML5, CSS & JavaScript
- Knowledgeable in software design patterns, including basic Object-Oriented (OO) concepts like encapsulation and abstraction, as well as SOLID principles such as single responsibility, dependency injection, and interface-driven design.
- Proficiency in database development with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
Preferred Qualifications
- .Net Core, Microservices, and Microsoft Azure, along with familiarity with Azure DevOps/Git for source control, build, and task management.
