What you’ll do at Jamf:

The Software Engineer I is responsible for building tools required to help organizations succeed with Apple. Work closely with the agile team to learn the appropriate designs and practices to build Jamf products. Collaborate with experienced Engineers, Product Management and leadership to understand

priorities and how those help us solve problems.

 

What you can expect to do in this role:

  • Independently complete a majority of identified tasks from start to finish with highquality and collaborate with more experienced Engineers when needed.
  • Efficiently use available tools with minimal guidance.
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of Engineering best practices.
  • Ask the right questions, solve problems and build great software.
  • Partner with team to understand and communicate technical concepts with others in the organization (Technical Communication, Support, Product and Cloud).
  • Performs well defined tasks with increasing independence and seeks guidance when needed from more experience Engineers.
  • Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and purpose of the organization.
  • Adheres to the highest moral, ethical and legal standards to deliver an environment that promotes respect, innovation and creativity.
  • Supports and promotes a positive, inclusive workplace one in which the talents and strengths of our increasingly diverse workforce are welcomed, further developed and manifested in our work.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience developing enterprise grade software with understanding of testing and quality assurance processes (Required)
  • Minimum of 2 year of experience in current programming language and tools based on position requirements, JavaScript, (frameworks, React and Angular) HTML, CSS (Preferred)
  • Basic knowledge/familiarity with UX best practices (accessibility).
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with co-workers in a results driven culture
  • Ability to adapt to changing platforms effectively
  • Good listening skills
  • Ability to engage with and establish trust and rapport with all levels of customers and employees

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

  • 2 year / Associates (Required)
  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
