Software Engineer I

We’re looking for a Software Engineer who is ready to begin their career and make an immediate impact in shaping the way our clients work. You will play a key role in expanding our multiple product offerings by building microservices on AWS, creating data models in MongoDB, and writing reusable UI components with React alongside a caring and motivated team.

FloQast is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA and we are seeking US-based REMOTE Engineers.

We’re seeking candidates who have completed their degree by December 2024 or earlier. For candidates graduating in the Spring of 2025 or later, we encourage you to apply starting in April 2025 when we begin recruiting for those graduation dates.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with teammates to define specs, deliver code, write tests, perform code reviews, and deploy products across multiple environments
• Produce full-stack solutions that delight our customers, from building out microservices on AWS to crafting reusable UI components with React
• Learn and discover new technologies and concepts that help solve problems while growing your career in a supportive environment. You will be challenged to learn and use new technologies like the ever-growing AWS ecosystem, Redux Toolkit, D3, and much more.

What You'll Bring

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering is required
• Experience with full-stack web technologies in an academic environment
• Motivation and determination to learn and grow in your expertise in MERN technologies, product development, and software development process
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team of engineers
• Customer-focused mentality and a desire to demonstrate craftsmanship in everything you build

This job posting is for our Software Engineer I level, the base pay range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. Compensation is not limited to base salary. FloQast values our Total Rewards, and offers a competitive and elaborate Benefits Package including, but not limited to, Medical, Dental, Vision, Family Forming benefits, Life & Disability Insurance, and Unlimited Vacation. FloQast reserves the right to amend, change, alter, and revise pay ranges and benefits offerings at any time.
