Job Summary:

We are looking for a versatile software engineer to join our team. This is an entry-level developer role for an engineer who wants to bridge the gap between embedded systems and massively parallel computing. You will support a variety of projects, helping to build distributed software architectures that utilize GPGPU (General Purpose GPU) acceleration on tactical aircraft and mobile platforms. You will work directly with Senior Architects to implement signal processing logic, automate infrastructure, and support field integration events.

Responsibilities: 

This position requires the candidate to perform software engineering tasks:

  • GPU Software Implementation: Develop and optimize C++ and Python components for GPU-accelerated data processing applications, translating mathematical concepts into efficient parallel code.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Create and maintain container definitions (Docker) that enable access to hardware accelerators (NVIDIA/AMD) on tactical Linux servers / devices.
  • System Testing: Build automated test suites to verify system stability and data integrity across various hardware configurations, including heterogeneous (CPU + GPU) platforms.
  • Hardware Integration: Participate in hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing, troubleshooting interfaces between servers, networks, and custom sensor peripherals.
  • Data Analysis: Develop scripts to parse, visualize, and analyze complex sensor data logs to support performance profiling and tuning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college/university from an accredited college/university.
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to program security requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance; active clearance preferred
  • Strong organizational and technical communication skills, including presenting to internal and government stakeholders
  • Zero (0) years to two (2) years of experience in Engineering or Computer Science

Preferences:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college/university.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship)

Skills:

  • Languages: Proficiency in C++ (11/14+) and Python.
  • Parallel Computing: Understanding of GPU architecture concepts (threads, blocks, memory hierarchy) or experience with frameworks like CUDA, OpenCL, or Vulkan.
  • Operating Systems: Solid understanding of Linux fundamentals (CLI, processes, memory management).
