About Ramp

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.

The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.

We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.

The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

About the Role

As a Software Engineer on GTM Platform, you will build the tools, systems, and AI-powered workflows that help Ramp’s go-to-market teams show what is possible for prospective and existing customers. You’ll work at the intersection of product engineering and revenue: creating high-quality demo environments, customer sandboxes, and internal platforms that make it easier for Sales and Solutions teams to move quickly, tell compelling product stories, and unblock complex deals.

Our work directly shapes how the world experiences Ramp before—and as—it becomes a customer. You’ll take ambiguous commercial needs, turn them into thoughtful product experiences, and ship reliable software end to end.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and own software end to end for Ramp’s Sales, Solutions, and customer-facing go-to-market teams—from understanding pain points and defining product requirements to shipping polished, dependable tools.

  • Develop demo and sandbox infrastructure that lets teams showcase Ramp’s capabilities in realistic, compelling, and repeatable ways.

  • Build AI-powered internal workflows and agents that reduce manual work, accelerate deal cycles, and help go-to-market teams solve customer-specific blockers.

  • Partner closely with Sales, Solutions, Customer Success, Account Management, and core product engineering to turn field feedback into scalable product and platform improvements.

  • Make strong engineering tradeoffs between a one-off enablement need and a reusable platform investment, raising the leverage of every GTM team that uses your work.

What You Need
  • 2+ years of software engineering experience preferred

  • A track record of shipping high-quality products, internal tools, or platform capabilities with real users and measurable impact.

  • Track record of shipping high-quality products at scale

  • Excellent collaboration skills and genuine empathy for internal users, especially customer-facing teams.
