Job Summary:
The Genesys Cloud Refinery team is looking for a talented engineer for full-stack development based in Budapest, Hungary.
The Refinery team works on platform services and infrastructure that power Genesys Cloud. They work closely with other teams across the organization to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
About you:
- You have experience working with JavaScript applications in Node.js.
- You have experience with REST API design and development.
- You have experience building web applications in JavaScript using modern frameworks.
- You are a strong problem solver with desire to make significant contributions.
- You are curious and keep abreast of new tools and technology.
- You have good written and verbal communications skills.
- You are a resourceful and detail-oriented developer.
- You can prioritize tasks and work independently when provided with relevant information.
Preferred Qualifications:
-You have experience building applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Several years (1-3 yrs) experience as a Software Engineer.
What you will do while working with us:
- Develop new features for our real-time communication platform using Node.js.
- Work with modern front-end web technologies such as Vue and Web Components.
- Build and maintain Node.js backend services and APIs.
- Help us evolve our platform to deliver features to customers faster and with fewer issues.
- Contribute to our team-maintained continuous deployment pipeline.
- Foster an inclusive working environment where every team member is positioned for success.
- Learn from the team by participating in code reviews, direct collaboration, and open discussion of ongoing work.

- Work with the product organization and your team to plan and estimate projects.
- Work with the UX team to develop engaging and user-friendly interfaces.
