Mimecast DMARC Analyzer is a cloud-based service that simplifies the complex process of implementing and managing DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance) policies for an organization's email domains. It provides visibility into who is sending emails using an organization's domain, helps identify legitimate versus fraudulent senders, simplifies DMARC policy enforcement, and ultimately protects the brand from domain spoofing and email fraud.

What You’ll Do

• Design, Develop, and Maintain Applications: Lead the end-to-end development of full-stack applications, including both frontend and backend components, primarily using Java and related technologies. Build highly intuitive UI using latest Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and other front end based frameworks and libraries. Evaluate UX designs, offer constructive feedback, and create the UI accordingly.

• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to create seamless and intuitive user experiences 
• Microservices & API Development: Implement and maintain microservices architectures and RESTful APIs, ensuring robust integration between system components 
• Code Quality & Reviews: Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
• Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• DevOps & Deployment: Participate in DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipeline setup, automated testing, and deployment processes.

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven expertise in Java development, with a strong understanding of Java 11+ and experience in building scalable backend system
• Proficiency in frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential. Familiarity with modern frameworks such as Angular to enable the creation of interactive and user-friendly interfaces. Experience in utilizing NPM for package management and dependency handling
• At Mimecast, we leverage the latest technologies, including the AI revolution. Experience with AI tools (like cursor, copilot) that enhance productivity is highly desired.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, ensuring efficient delivery of high-quality software
• Hands-on in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment, fostering a positive and supportive culture
• Strong communication skills with experience in effectively communicating and providing demo on technical concepts
• Strong technical background in software engineering, with hands-on experience in designing and developing backend services. Experience in development of microservices using frameworks like spring boot, Micronaut etc..
• Strong hands-on experience and knowledge of development in Java and Kubernetes is a must.
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging of customer issues
• Good to have experience in software security, security reviews and secure coding practices
