About the role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our core engineering team. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying the features that power our AI video platform, from the user-facing application to the high-performance backend services that handle video processing and AI model integration.
This is a critical role that requires a strong command of both frontend and backend technologies, a keen eye for user experience, and a desire to work closely with cutting-edge machine learning models.
Responsibilities
- Frontend Development: Design, develop, and maintain the user interface and user experience of the Oxygeon.ai platform using React and modern styling frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
- Backend Engineering: Build and optimize robust, scalable, and secure backend APIs (e.g., using Python/FastAPI or js) to support high-volume video upload, processing orchestration, and retrieval.
- AI Integration: Work closely with our AI/ML team to integrate and productionize cutting-edge models (e.g., for transcription, summarization, and reframing) into the core video processing pipeline.
- Infrastructure & Scalability: Manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS or GCP) for high-volume, low-latency video processing and storage. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.
- System Design: Participate in architectural discussions and decisions, ensuring the platform is built for performance, reliability, and future growth.
- Code Quality: Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, and participate in code reviews to ensure high engineering standards.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role.
- Frontend Expertise: Strong expertise in React (or a similar modern framework like Vue/Angular) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Styling: Proficiency with modern CSS and utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
- Backend Proficiency: Strong command of a modern backend language such as Python (preferred for AI integration) or js, and experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
- Databases: Experience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with video processing libraries like FFmpeg.
- Familiarity with MLOps principles and productionizing machine learning models.
- Experience with real-time data processing or streaming technologies.
- A portfolio or examples of work demonstrating a strong sense of UI/UX design.
