About Sign3
Sign3 is an AI-first customer intelligence platform powering fraud prevention, risk scoring, and smarter onboarding decisions for leading FinTechs, banks, and digital businesses. Our flagship SDK and APIs analyze device, behavioral, and digital footprint signals to help clients detect synthetic identities, money mule accounts, and other fraud vectors—in real time. We work with top-tier players across credit cards, lending, gaming, and neo-banking, helping them unlock trusted growth at scale. Our systems process millions of risk events per day, with millisecond-level performance and precision.
At Sign3, you’ll get to build in a fast-paced, impact-focused environment alongside a lean, high-ownership team.
The Role
We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer to build the interfaces that turn Sign3’s fraud intelligence into decisions our customers act on every day—risk dashboards, the rule engine, and investigation tools used by fraud and risk teams at some of the largest FinTechs in the country. This role is well-suited for engineers with 3–4 years of experience who have a strong command of JavaScript, build polished products in React and Next.js, write clean and performant code, and bring their own ideas to the table rather than waiting for a spec. You’ll take real ownership of what you ship.
What You’ll Do
• Build and own the web consoles fraud teams rely on — in React and Next.js
• Turn dense, complex datasets into clear, fast, interactive interfaces and data visualizations
• Build and extend a reusable component/design system so we ship consistently and quickly
• Integrate real-time risk APIs and model complex client state over large, frequently-updating datasets
• Treat performance as a feature—fast loads, smooth interactions, and efficient rendering on data-heavy screens
• Ship features end to end with product, design, backend, and data science; contribute to design discussions, code reviews, and technical documentation
• Bring ideas—propose better UX, patterns, and tooling; we don’t hand out rigid specs
What We’re Looking For
• 3–4 years building production web frontends
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals—the language itself: modern ES2015+ • Strong React and state management with hands-on Next.js
• Solid HTML/CSS and a utility-first styling system (e.g., Tailwind)
• Comfort integrating REST APIs and presenting data clearly—tables, charts, dashboards • Clean, well-structured code, with a solid grasp of data structures and performance • Product sense and a habit of bringing ideas and improvements to the table • Strong sense of ownership; thrives in a fast-paced startup without rigid specifications • Clear written and verbal communication in English
Nice to Have
• Curiosity about how browsers really work under the hood—and comfort playing with native browser APIs
• Experience building libraries or SDKs, especially browser-side
• Depth with build tooling (Rollup, Vite, Webpack, or Esbuild), including minification/obfuscation
• TypeScript; testing with Jest, Vitest, or Playwright
• Awareness of web security and privacy best practices
What We Offer
• Competitive compensation and meaningful equity
• High-ownership role in a fast-growing AI startup
