About the Role:

Gartner is looking for well-rounded and motivated developers to join the Gartner Peer Insights Team. This team is responsible for developing a scalable and secure platform for Gartner Peer Platform sites. The team works on advanced tools and techniques for high-performance web development, data processing, and system integration.

What you’ll do:

• Build and deliver products & applications integrating with various databases, AWS Services and REST APIs.

• Work with Open-source technologies and applications using NodeJS and ReactJS in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.

• Follow coding standards, build appropriate unit tests, and integration tests

• Translate designs and style guides provided by the Design team into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance.

• Participates in the technical design process, expected to contribute own ideas for changes/new features; Capable of owning independent small-to-medium features all the way through from technical design to launch.

• Conducts system analysis, working closely with a Lead engineer, to improve operations.

What you’ll need:

Must have:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related engineering field with experience in software development.

• 2-4 years of experience developing customers facing products or web applications.

• Expertise in ReactJS, NodeJS/Next.JS and Typescript is a must.

• Expert skills in CSS, HTML, and Design libraries.

• Experience working with consumption/creation of Restful APIs

• Strong experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

• Good understanding of security best practices.

Nice to have:

• Experience in AWS or any other cloud technologies

• Experience in distributed systems, high-traffic services, or data-intensive platforms.
