Team Mission:At GetYourGuide, our Supplier Connectivity team is on a mission to empower scalable inventory growth and create a seamless customer experience for connected products.
You will:- Work in a cross-functional mission team with full-stack engineers, app engineers, designers and analysts
- Help to enable your mission team to iterate fast and learn about our customers by designing, launching and iterating on A/B experiments
- Continuously improve our code base, systems and processes
- Design and develop efficient solutions that can continue to scale
- Work with Vue.js, Node.js, TypeScript, SASS, Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, Kafka, Kubernetes.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Expertise in web application development using component-based frameworks.
- High proficiency in TypeScript, Vue.js, Java (SpringBoot), Kafka, and GraphQL.
- Experience designing architecture and deployment of web applications and services.
- Experience with writing tests.
- Ability to turn ideas into fast, reliable and maintainable code.
- Positive, proactive team player who is passionate about their craft.
- Customer-centric prioritization and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Backend experience in Java.
- Working closely with the product manager, designer.
- Experience with A/B testing, hypothesis building and event-based analytics.
- Prior experience working in the e-commerce space.
- Prior experience in start-up environments.
