Your Day to Day
As a Front-End Software Engineer you would be working on:
- Contribute to the implementation of the Chameleon Design System
- Collaborate with the rest of the team: Engineers, Community Coordinator, UX Designers to deliver components Build and support the Component framework
- Contribute to the architecture of the design system from an engineering perspective
- Encourage an open contribution process to the design system
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams to gather feedback and bug reports
- Help us deliver awesome products, all with a consistent visual identity!
What We’re Looking For
As a Front-End Software Engineer, your background will look like
- Experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Interest in learning to develop Web Components
- Interest in learning about the FAST, Lit and React Native
- Familiarity with React is a plus
- Good communication skills
- Interest in working in an agile environment with CI/CD processes
- Interest in owning both the development and operation of the design system (DevOps model)
- Interest in learning about accessibility (a11y) standards and compliance
- A desire to learn and to help others grow
