Software Engineer - FE

Role Summary 

KINESSO is currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Software Engineer to fill an immediate need. This individual will work with the technical team and internal clients to understand and analyze requirements to build and support data solutions. The candidate will have experience designing and developing highly scalable, high-performance solutions that power the insights and analytics need for our clients. This role requires an individual who has a passion for technology and media and is looking to apply this to further their experience in real-world business scenarios 

Key Responsibilities 

• Active participation in discussions and provides insights about processes and solutions. 

• Responsible for intermediate tasks related to core practice, ensuring effective and timely completion. 

• Identifying areas for improvement in processes and helping to adapt processes. 

• Develop and manage team documentation and conduct peer reviews as scoped. 

• Follow compliance guidelines and standards, identify potential problems, and propose solutions. 

• Collaborate across teams within the project, understanding and integrating feedback from different stakeholders. 

• Mentor trainee engineers, guiding them through tasks and helping them understand core concepts. 

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science 

• 3-5 years of progressive software engineering experience 

• 3+ years of Object-Oriented Design Concept 

• 3+ years of experience with AWS cloud ecosystem 

• 3+ years of progressive experience in front-end development using modern JS frameworks 

• Experience with agile methodologies is highly desirable 

• Experience in the modern tech stack is highly desirable: 

• JavaScript, AngularJS, NodeJS, TypeScript, NPM 

• HTML, CSS 

• Jest, Jasmine, Protractor 

• Github, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Webpack 

• Experience with RESTful API integration and asynchronous programming 

• Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization 

• Experience integration with 3rd party APIs and handling data visualization libraries 

• Exposure to AI/ML concepts 

• Skilled in time management and meeting timelines 

• Strong teamwork, contributing effectively to team goals 

• Thrive in hybrid work settings 

• Effective communicator, skilled at influencing team discussions 

• Basic understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance standards 

• Able to stay ahead of the curve with new and emerging technologies 

• Experience in ad tech is a strong plus
