What you will do

Reporting to the Manager of Engineering
Partner with developers during the design/architecture phase to define test plans, acceptance criteria, and risk coverage early in the lifecycle (shift-left).
Design and implement automated tests for new features in Kubernetes, containers, and cloud security, expanding coverage beyond functionality to include performance, resiliency, longevity/soak, and scalability.
Develop automation frameworks in a CI/CD environment to promote fast, safe releases.
Promote quality practices and process improvements to increase the reliability and security of our solutions.

What you will bring with you

Experience with software quality principles and automation strategies.
Coding skills in Python or Java (3+ years).
Experience with test frameworks such as Pytest, JUnit, TestNG.
Hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs.

What we look for

A hands-on and collaborative approach.
A security-first mentality, with interest in growing expertise in this area.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, or cloud platforms (exposure to Infrastructure as Code, e.g., Terraform or Helm).
Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments, including shell scripting.
