Are you our new Data Engineer to join our Consumer & Marketing Technology team in Digital Technology?
We are currently on the lookout for a motivated Data Engineer to help us with design and ingesting of data from external sources. Build and maintain data pipelines that will allow us to do processing and analysis within our Marketing and Engagement domain.

Core ResponsibilitiesBuild, optimize and manage automated data pipelines that ingest marketing and survey data, transforming it to silver-layer quality for both analytics dashboards and machine learning models
Design and implement robust data transformation processes that handle complex, multi-source data while ensuring ML model requirements and business analytics needs are met
Develop and maintain scalable data infrastructure and deployment processes that support data processing workflows
Architect secure, scalable data solutions in our Databricks and AWS solutions to handle growing data volumes from marketing platforms and survey systems
Partner closely with data scientists, business stakeholders, and external partners to translate data requirements into engineered solutions that cover company-critical data requirements
Drive data engineering best practices including schema design, data modeling, and governance standards across the marketing and engagement data domain
Implement comprehensive data quality frameworks, monitoring, and documentation to ensure consistency and reliability across all data products
Research and evaluate emerging data technologies and tools to continuously improve our data engineering capabilities and pipeline performance
Foster a collaborative data culture by leading multi-functional initiatives, mentoring team members, and sharing knowledge across the organization
The main focus for our team is to build and maintain a robust and scalable data pipelines that allows for efficient ingestion, processing and analysis of data from external sources. The role as a data engineer is critical to ensure data is accessible, useable and of high quality for analysts and scientists to perform further analysis optimally.
Do you have what it takes?Extensive experience in data engineering with a focus on building production-grade data pipelines and transformation workflows
Solid experience with data modeling, schema design, and building scalable data solutions for both analytics and ML use cases
Proficiency in AWS and Databricks platforms, with hands-on experience deploying data infrastructure using infrastructure as code
Deep understanding of data modeling concepts and building scalable data marts
Strong programming skills, preferable in Python, R or similar languages
Expert-level skills in SQL, Python, and PySpark for data processing and pipeline development
Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and deployment automation (Databricks Asset Bundles preferred)
Hands-on experience implementing data contracts, including data manifests and usage agreements to ensure data governance
Proficiency with data quality tools and implementing data quality monitoring frameworks
Experience with a broad range of external data sources and third-party integrations, with an understanding of data quality challenges in multi-source environments
Solid understanding of data governance, security standards, and working with data requirements
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex data engineering challenges
Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
