What you will do
We are hiring a Data Scientist who is passionate about solving complex business problems using data, machine learning, and AI. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Python, hands-on experience with ML frameworks, and exposure to Microsoft Azure cloud services. You will work on developing scalable ML models, deploying AI solutions, and deriving actionable insights from large datasets.
How you will do it
- Design, build, and evaluate machine learning models for classification, regression, forecasting, and NLP use cases.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python and Azure Data Factory / Azure Databricks for ETL and feature engineering.
- Deploy ML models on Azure Machine Learning (Azure ML) using endpoints, pipelines, and MLflow tracking.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality, availability, and governance across Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Apply AI/GenAI capabilities (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services) to build intelligent applications and automation workflows.
- Monitor model performance in production, identify drift, and implement retraining strategies.
- Translate business requirements into data science problem statements and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and adherence to ML Ops best practices.
What we look for
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- 8+ years in data science/analytics with a proven record of delivering impactful insights/products.
- Proficiency in Python or R; experience with pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn.
- Solid ML knowledge (regression, classification, clustering, deep learning).
- Experience with data visualization (matplotlib, seaborn, Tableau) and SQL databases.
- Excellent problem-solving, detail-oriented, able to work independently and in fast-paced teams.
- Strong communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with distributed data/compute (Snowflake, Spark, MySQL, etc.).
- Azure/Azure ML experience is mandatory; data engineering skills (pipelines, warehousing, integration).

- Understanding of ethics, privacy, bias, and fairness in data science.
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple specialties in a “one-team” environment.
- Broad experience across technical disciplines.

- Experience with big data tech (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- NLP techniques and tools.
- A/B testing methodologies and experimental design.

Our salary and benefits
The initial basic salary for this position will be in the range of €2430 – €3800 per month, plus a 13th month salary applied after your first 6 months in the job.
