So, what’s the role all about?
The Software Engineer develops tests and maintains the NiCE CXone software platform. Key responsibilities include all tiers of the NiCE CXone technology, including (but not limited to) design and development of NiCE CXone products and features, unit testing, code reviews, resolving defects encountered during the QA cycle, supporting the production environment, and assisting other developers in a team environment utilizing agile development processes.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Work as an Individual Contributor on complex Reporting based projects
- Should be able to interpret the business requirements and discuss with technical team/designers
- Participate in technology evaluations and Proof of Concepts
- Bachelors in computer science
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Java Developer (Web & Server side using Java)
- Strong OO design and code skills
- Expertise in application development using Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring boot, Hibernate, web services standards and related technologies ( JSON, REST)
- 1+ years of experience in UI development using Angular
- Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., NgRx, Redux, or Context API)
- Demonstrated experience with multi-tier web application development
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts
- Exposure & hands-on experience with Agile framework & DevOps tools
- Experience with automation in unit and system level (jUnit/TestNG)
- Strong understanding of Performance Tuning and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-Solving abilities
- Experience to write integration tests using the cucumber framework
- Excellent verbal, written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
