Software Engineer - Customer Experience Analytics (all genders)

THE ROLE & THE TEAM

You will join the AI Ops team within the Customer Experience Analytics division. This team's main goal is to enhance our AI infrastructure and create innovative GenAI-powered applications, accelerating our journey towards understanding and improving customer experience. We are part of the customer care organization, putting us in a unique position to understand and address customer issues better and faster than any other team. You will empower various teams across the entire organization to utilize AI capabilities, ensuring a continuously improving experience for our customers. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining the infrastructure for GenAI applications, a pivotal asset that will be utilized to enhance and streamline operations comprehensively. Your contributions will directly influence our ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

• Building and maintaining infrastructure for Python-powered applications, ensuring robust, scalable, and high-performance systems that meet business needs.

• Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment of new features and applications, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid iteration.

• Developing tools and platforms to enhance the development process, empowering stakeholders to efficiently access and utilize software capabilities.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new solutions and improvements into existing workflows and systems, ensuring seamless functionality.

• Driving innovation and fostering knowledge sharing within the engineering team, contributing to best practices and continuous improvement initiatives

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF...

• Technical Expertise: 3+ Years of experience as a Software Engineer and a proven track record of writing effective code. You demonstrate a profound understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices. You are a staunch advocate of clean code, robust automated testing, and continuous improvement, driven by a passionate commitment to these ideals. You excel in Python and are skilled in Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, and Kafka-like queues.

• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: You are adept at tackling complex technical challenges, possess strong analytical skills, and can devise efficient, scalable solutions. You proactively identify and address problems facing your team. You are comfortable with building applications from the ground up and also improving existing systems.

• Ownership and Strategic Thinking: You understand the importance of application performance and the implications of infrastructure issues. You can balance complexity and practicality in your solutions. You are ready to own data products and features from end to end, from testing and implementing to deploying and monitoring.

• Communication and Teamwork: You excel in a collaborative environment, can articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and enjoy working in cross-functional teams. You are able to collect business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Adaptability and Continuous Learning: You have a passion for learning and staying at the forefront of software and AI technology trends. You are motivated by the opportunity to integrate these new technologies and change the way we work.
