As an Software Engineer for the Credova (Credit) Integrations team at PublicSquare, you will build and deliver consumer facing web applications and 3rd party integrations for end users to use to delight our merchant customers. You will be working with a team of highly skilled engineers and work closely with business stakeholders to define requirements, deliver solutions, and support existing merchant customers. This is a dynamic role, so you will have a strong passion for clean, testable software which can maintained by the whole team and to be willing to jump in to other projects as needed.

Our FinTech products enable our merchant customers to process credit cards, debit cards, ACH and buy-now-pay-later financing all centered around our powerful payments processing API, so you will be building and improving the delivery of these payments mechanisms to our merchant customers via our merchant integrations.

Your key job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Helping design, develop and deliver high quality solutions for our merchant customers that their end users will love.
• Maintaining and providing efficient support of existing solutions already used by our merchant customers.
• Contributing to the continued evolution of engineering standards within the team.
• Working closely with business stakeholders to define and align on product requirements and roadmaps
• Helping grow and develop fellow engineers on the product
• Constantly looking for opportunities to automate and improve aspects of the product and engineering processes
• Writing and maintaining developer documentation

Requirements

• A strong passion for automation and testing.
• Strong proficiency with Javascript, Typescript, PHP or relevant language.
• Proficiency with React, NextJS, or Remix
• Experience building and delivering cloud applications through CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with business stakeholders to define requirements and turn requirements into process or software solutions
• Excellent writing and presentation communication skills

Desired Experience

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience building, deploying and maintaining integrations (plugins) for e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.
• Experience building consumer-facing software that consumes RESTful interfaces
• Experience building automated tests of any kind
• Experience supporting customer relationships
