Software Engineer – Columbia, MD (USV & FFX)
Salary Range: $75,000-100,000

In-Depth Engineering Corporation seeks mid-level software engineers to support our rapidly growing Department of the Navy development and modernization programs. Our projects include support of critical Navy capabilities, including the Aegis Combat System, Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV), Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) launcher and research and development of tools and software for submarine warfare.
This is a permanent, full-time position and the work will be performed on-site in our Research and Development Lab in Columbia, Maryland.
Candidates for consideration must be a US citizen and have or be able to obtain a Department of Defense secret clearance.
Duties:
- Utilize modern software automation tools in an Agile environment to develop combat system software
- Design, develop, integrate, and test software
- Principally object-oriented C++ and Java in a Linux environment
- Prepare software engineering design documentation
- Prepare and present engineering material within the peer review process, to leadership and to customer as appropriate
Requirements:
- US Citizenship
- Have or be able to obtain a Department of Defense secret clearance
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
- 1 year of professional experience
- Experience with C++ and/or Java
