Flow Traders is looking for a Software Engineer C++ to join our growing Digital Assets Technology team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate is driven, innovative and passionate about decentralized finance. At Flow Traders you will work on developing low-latency systems that are used to trade cryptocurrencies at many venues around the world. We are looking for motivated software engineers that can take ownership of the full software development life cycle. You will work closely with product owners and traders to gather, discuss and clarify requirements and take responsibility for testing and ensuring quality of your implementations; and deploy production and work together with operations engineers and traders to perform post-deployment support and validation.

What You Will Do
Main technical activities include:
- Exchange Connectivity: Your primarily responsibility will be writing software that communicates with crypto exchanges through their APIs, receiving market data and sending orders over the network in different protocols, such as Websocket or HTTP requests. You will implement this using the provided exchange SDKs in different languages such as Rust, Python, Typescript
- DevOps: Your development process will be a fast-paced iterative process where you deploy your deliverables and validate them yourself
What You Need to Succeed
- 3+ years of experience with C++
- Experience with Rust is highly preferred
- Experience interacting with blockchains
- Experience using exchange SDKs to interact with crypto exchanges
- Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Ability to rapid prototype
- Understanding of full software development life cycle
- Ability to write clean and simple code
- Experience with unit testing
- Experience with some Linux distribution
- Good interpersonal and team playing skills
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders of different background
